<p>One of our family-run clients based in Bradford is looking to add another Class 1 Driver to their team. They're ideally looking for a tramper driver who is happy to stay out Monday to Friday, but they'll also consider someone looking for Class 1 day work.</p>
<p>This is an <strong>ongoing position</strong> with the possibility of a permanent job if it's something you enjoy.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will be available Monday to Friday, with weekend work available<strong> if </strong>you want it, although it's completely optional.</p>
<p>Start times are usually around <strong>6:00am-7:00am</strong>, but if you prefer an earlier start, the client is happy to work around this where possible.</p>
<p>You'll generally be working <strong>10-12 hour shifts</strong>. If you're tramping, you'll be sleeping in the cab during the week. The trucks are fitted with a <strong>bed and fridge</strong>, and you'll stay in the <strong>same vehicle all week</strong>, so it really does become your home from home.</p>

<p>This is an ongoing opportunity, with work varying depending on the client's requirements. Some weeks may offer <strong>2-3 shifts</strong>, while others could be <strong>a full week's work</strong> covering planned holidays. <p>The majority of the work is straightforward general haulage. <strong>Class 1</strong> shifts typically involve a full load out and a return load, with no trailer swaps and no handball. <strong>Class 2</strong> work usually consists of around <strong>4-5 deliveries and collections</strong>, with the vast majority of loads forklifted on and off, meaning there's <strong>no pump truck or tail lift work</strong>.
