Class 1 Driver | HGV Class 1 Driver | HGV Class 1 Tramper
One of our family-run clients based in Bradford is looking to add another Class 1 Driver to their team. They're ideally looking for a tramper driver who is happy to stay out Monday to Friday, but they'll also consider someone looking for Class 1 day work.
This is an ongoing position with the possibility of a permanent job if it's something you enjoy.
The ideal candidate will be available Monday to Friday, with weekend work available if you want it, although it's completely optional.
Start times are usually around 6:00am-7:00am, but if you prefer an earlier start, the client is happy to work around this where possible.
You'll generally be working 10-12 hour shifts. If you're tramping, you'll be sleeping in the cab during the week. The trucks are fitted with a bed and fridge, and you'll stay in the same vehicle all week, so it really does become your home from home.

]]>One of our long-established clients based in Halifax is looking for a Class 1 Driver who is also happy to carry out Class 2 work when required. This is an ongoing opportunity to help cover extra work, holidays and sickness, with shifts available throughout the year.
Work is typically available 1-2 days per week, although there will also be opportunities to cover full weeks during planned holidays. The ideal candidate will be flexible and available Monday to Friday as required.
The role involves local palletised multidrop deliveries throughout the HX postcode areas, so you'll become familiar with the routes and regular customers. You'll be driving well-maintained curtain-sided vehicles, with typical start times from around 7:00am and shifts usually lasting 10-12 hours.
Whether you're driving a Class 1 or Class 2 vehicle, the work remains very similar, offering straightforward daytime deliveries with no overnight stays. This makes it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible, local work with a good work-life balance.

]]>One of our long-standing clients based in Normanton is looking for a Class 1 Driver who is also happy to carry out Class 2 work when required. As their sole agency supplier, we're trusted to provide all of their holiday and sickness cover, giving us advance visibility of upcoming work and allowing us to plan shifts with our drivers wherever possible.
This is an ongoing opportunity, with work varying depending on the client's requirements. Some weeks may offer 2-3 shifts, while others could be a full week's work covering planned holidays. If you're looking for flexible, well-organised agency work with a client we know inside out, this is an excellent opportunity.
The majority of the work is straightforward general haulage. Class 1 shifts typically involve a full load out and a return load, with no trailer swaps and no handball. Class 2 work usually consists of around 4-5 deliveries and collections, with the vast majority of loads forklifted on and off, meaning there's no pump truck or tail lift work. You'll simply be responsible for securing your load, opening and closing the curtains, and providing excellent customer service throughout the day.
