HGV Class 1 and 2 Day Driver
£14.28ph - £17.50ph |Curtain Sider | PAYE)

Drivers Plus is currently recruiting for HGV Class 1and 2 Day Drivers with experience in driving Curtain Sider vehicles. You will be working out of Bradford (BD12) for our client, who’s a family-run business. Start times will be 06:00 for HGV Class 1 and 07:00 for HGV Class 2. Shifts last around 10 - 12 hours.

What you’ll be doing as an HGV Class 1 and 2 Day Driver:

. The company operate between Monday – Friday.

. On Class 1, you will be doing 1 – 2 runs per shift.

· On Class 1, no handball is required. You will need to strap the load and curtains.

· On Class 2, you will be doing palletised multi-drop work, doing up to 10 drops per shift.

.On Class 2 you will be required to use a tail lift and pump truck to offload. You are also required to strap your load and Curtains.

Benefits of working with our client as an HGV Class 1 and 2 Day Driver:

· Rate of Pay is £17.50ph on Class 1

. Rate of Pay is £16ph on Class 2

· Weekly pay.

· The option to be auto-enrolled into our pension scheme after 12 weeks of work.

· Only PAYE applicants accepted. No LTD/ Umbrella.

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 and 2 Drivers who has experience driving a Curtain Siders. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their licence for the last 6 months. It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.

· A valid CE or C Licence, CPC card and Driver card.

· No more than 6 points on your licence.

· A reference from a previous employer covering the last 2 years.
