£15.61ph - £17.50ph |Curtain Sider | PAYE)
Drivers Plus is currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Day Driver with experience in driving Curtain Sider vehicles. You will be working out of Leeds (LS10) for our prestigious client. Start times will be between 06:00 – 09:00. Shifts last around 10 - 12 hours.
What you’ll be doing as a HGV Class 1 Day Driver:
. The company operate between Monday – Friday.
. Delivering around 1 – 2 deliveries per shift.
. Either doing local trailer swaps, 1- 2 full loads locally, or a run to Telford.
. No handball required. You will be required to strap your Curtains and pallets.

· Rate of Pay is £17.50ph on Class 1
· Weekly pay.
· The option to be auto enrolled into our pension scheme after 12 weeks of work.
· Only PAYE applicants accepted. No LTD/ Umbrella.

What we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Day Driver who has experience driving a Curtain Sider. Our client requires drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience who have actively used their licence for the last 6 months. It’s essential you are a good communicator, reliable, and take pride in your work, prioritising timekeeping and health and safety.
· A valid CE Licence, CPC card and Driver card.
· No more than 6 points on your licence.
· A reference from a previous employer covering the last 2 years.
